Jacelyn Biondo (co-founder/co-director) has returned to the East Coast after spending nine years in Arizona, California, and traveling overseas.  She graduated from California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and Photography and Media. While at CalArts, Jacelyn studied under Cristyne Lawson, Tina Yuan-Lems and Lyndon Branaugh and participated in dance workshops with Alseney Yansanne, John Malashock, Nzingha Camara and Doug Varone. Before leaving California, she was part of Ledges and Bones, a dance collective, under the direction of Holly Johnston.  Jacelyn also performed on multiple occasions with Los Angeles based choreographer Elizabeth Hoefner.  Since her return to Philadelphia, Jacelyn has had the opportunity to work with Myra Bazel in the Philly Live Arts Festival 2005, with Jeb Kreager in the Live Arts Festival 2006 and with on various shows with Reactionaries in 2006.  Additionally, she has had the opportunity to participate in workshops led by Marianela Boan, Amy Smith and Mark Lord. Jacelyn is also a freelance photographer and wants to make amazing photographs of you.
 
Kristen Shahverdian (co-founder/co-director) has performed with many independent artists in Philadelphia, works with The Bald Mermaids and was a company member of Reactionaries (2004-2006).  In 2004-2005 she performed with Dance Advance’s Poland/Philadelphia project under the leadership of Polish choreographer Jacek Luminski.  As an artist she is interested in the intersection between language and movement, imagery and design and in using improvisation to create performance.  Her own work has been presented in Philadelphia at the Live Arts/Philly Fringe Festival, nEW Performance Series, and Glue Performance Series; she’s also shown work at the Joyce Soho, Walt Whitman Arts Center and in Bytom, Poland. She received the 2003 New Edge Mix award for emerging artists.  Kristen holds her MFA in dance from Temple University and is a certified Pilates instructor.
